Andrew Babione - Technical Cloud Architect and FinOps Director
Career technical cloud architect Andrew Babione is the FinOps director at S&P Global. The New York-based corporation provides financial data, analytics, and commodities intelligence to different clients globally. His primary roles include reporting and achieving corporate cloud cost reductions, onboarding FinOps tools from vendors into the firm, and assisting stakeholders, including employees and clients, with cloud cost reductions. Before his promotion, Andrew Babione was a capacity architect in the same firm.
Mr. Babione graduated from Radford University in 2011 with a bachelor of arts in business. He also holds several licenses and certifications relevant to his profession. The credentials include Digital Solutions, Raising the Bar, Q4, 2023, and Q1, 2025 Honorable Mention, and the DTS/TSG Raising the Bar, Q3 and Q4 Honorable mentions. He is a certified VMware in Data Center Virtualization and a FOCUS analyst professional.
Besides work, Andrew Babione sells EZGO and Club Car golf carts in the Savannah area. He enjoys watching the NFL, Major League Baseball, and Formula 1 racing. He is also a member of the Landings Country Golf Club and The Korn Ferry Club Car Championships.
